The principal objective of island Re is to professionally take a holistic approach to close the Reinsurance gap that exists not only in the sub region but globally thereby creating insurance and Reinsurance capacities available to the ceding companies to transact or procure either directly or indirectly all classes of insurance businesses thereby enhancing insurance market penetration which in turn enhance financial growth and economic development.
